How do I start the process in ordering a vehicle upfit?
Our sales team will meet and review your existing fleet and equipment needs. After listening and observing, tailored cutting edge products and services will be specified to meet both needs and budget.

When is payment required?

Net 30 days after delivery. Every upfit delivery includes a KML signature (driver) car seat cover and full vehicle detailing at no charge. Retail value $650.00.

How long does a new police vehicle upfit take?
Traditional police vehicles (Ford PIU, Chevy Tahoe) require 40 to 55 manhours.

How does my upfit get into production?
All parts must be present prior to being scheduled for production. Once parts are confirmed, vehicle availability is next. When both parts and vehicle are present then the vehicle is placed in the production queue.

Vehicle painting and graphics, when do they occur before or after upfitting?

Painting must be completed prior to upfitting. Painting can affect (delay) production. Please let sales team know when painting is involved.

Graphics can be installed prior to or after upfitting. If vehicle is in production, KML will work around graphics team availability
